Thriller

Recently Shawna and some of her friends out here decided they were going to participate in the local talent show. With Halloween coming up, they decided that they were going to do thriller. Here are some pictures to prove it.

Halloween Party!

Recently some of our neighbors had a Halloween party for all of the kids. Here are some pictures to enjoy. Shawna was trying to be a cowboy, but turned more into Chuck Norris with the beard. Jake got to wear his Red Dinosaur costume that has become his daily outfit. He won't even take it off to go to bed at night.

Walking in mommy's shoes

One of Gavin's favorite things to do is to find our shoes and put them on. Here he is walking around in Mommy's shoes. He was more than happy to strike some poses for us.








This second picture was during conference. He saw the conductor waving his arms during one of the hymns and starting waving his arms right along. Shawna was into the hymn too.

Utah Michigan Game

Okay, any of you who know me know what a Utah nut I am, and when I found out that Utah was going to the Big House to play Michigan, I had to go. I went with my neighbors (also die hard Utah fans) Tony Child and Dan Applegate. It was a very good game, and though the Utes almost gave it away, Utah ended up winning the contest. I was one of 108,481 fans that were at this game. Unreal.

Little Rascals

So one of our kids favorite things to do now is to get into the cupboard when Dad isn't looking to find something good to eat. Notice I said Dad because Mom usually isn't home when this happens. Today's treat was hot chocolate mix. Yummy!
Other regular favorites are Ice Cream and anything that is sweet left in child's reach (including all of the upper cupboards). I've already learned to hide my Hot Tamales but it seems Shawna is getting good at finding my stashes as well as the boys.

Island Park

Okay all of you doubters. I'm ready for my second post. This weekend we all traveled up to Island Park with Shawna's family and stayed in a cabin on Bill's Island. It was nice to get away from everything and relax some. This picture was of everyone at Big Springs, where we went to feed the fish. However, it turned into feeding the seagulls as the birds ate all of the food before the fish could get to it.
